So the command's approved my request to leave shore duty early, so barring my detailer completely forgetting about me and giving my school seat/orders away, I should have orders this week to school in MD and follow on to the USS New Orleans in September in sunny San Diego.

Gee, I hope we can get a place close to Spy's....
